Inspections

Absolute Aviation specializes in Pre-Buy, Pre-Sell, Annual, Import/Export, Ferry Permit, and Special Inspections of small aircraft (under 12,500 lbs). Our inspectors are experienced on single and multi-engine piston, single and multi-engine turboprops, piston and turbine helicopters, seaplanes and amphibians, jets and even hot air balloons.  Lake and Beech are our specialty. We regularly perform preliminary and hidden damage inspections for insurance companies, and have participated in both NTSB and FAA accident investigations. As FAA Designees, we have performed production and prototype conformity inspections, issued airworthiness certificates, and issued Class I, II, and III export approvals. Pre-Buy Inspections

You probably know the story of the prospective aircraft buyer who thought an Annual Inspection was too high a price to pay for a pre-buy.  He then skipped the pre-buy and ended up with a lemon that took an extra 50% of the purchase price to repair. Pre-Sell Program

Absolute Aviation can help you prepare your aircraft and aircraft records for sale. There is much more to a Pre-Sell program than waxing the exterior and cleaning the interior. Minor problems can sow the seed of doubt in a prospective buyer's mind. Our lengthy checklists help uncover potential problems before the buyer's inspector does. Using your normal mechanic to do a pre-sell carries its own pitfalls. The same shop that has been overlooking or ignoring something, will likely continue to do so. Also, if the buyer is using an unbiased inspector, it's wise to have your unbiased inspector look at it first.  Sometimes, the prospective buyer will accept this unbiased pre-sell inspection as their pre-buy. The objectives of a well developed Pre-Sell Program are: Prepare the aircraft for maximum resale value. Prepare the aircraft so that one of the first prospects will buy it.
