What is a Pre-Sell Inspection? Where do you perform your services? What are E-Logs?
At Absolute Aviation, our inspectors have performed hundreds of Annuals and Pre-Buys. We know what to look for, and that includes paperwork. Our experienced inspectors find paperwork problems with most aircraft we see for the first time. Sometimes these discrepancies can be serious and costly to correct, and other times, knowledge of the discrepancies provides the buyer with leverage during purchase negotiations. Normally, the Pre-Buy inspection is paid for by the buyer. The correction of discrepancies that affect airworthiness are usually paid for by the seller. Reluctance to enter into a pre-buy arrangement on the part of the seller can be a red flag as to the seller's confidence in the aircraft.
